Ingredients Of Chicken Biryani Recipe:

  • Chicken: 4 medium-sized pieces
  • Rice: 1 cup rice (2 3/4 cups of cooked rice)
  • Yogurt: 1/4 cup yogurt (1/3 cup of yogurt)
  • Raisins and Ghee: 1 tbsp. raisins, 2 tbsp. ghee, salt to taste.
  • Freshness: Freshly-cut chicken pieces, soaked overnight in lemon juice or vinegar with salt and chili powder. Marinade chicken for one hour.

Method Of Chicken Biryani Recipe:

Step 1: Wash and soak the rice in water for half an hour or until the water comes out clean.

Step 2: In a pan, add two cups of water, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to taste. When the water starts boiling, add soaked rice to it.

Step 3: Bring down the flame and gently cook. The rice will start boiling very fast. Lower the flame to a minimum and let it cook at a low flame until the rice absorbs all the water. Do not open the lid. Add 1 tablespoon of ghee and wait until it melts and turns light brown.

Add 1 tablespoon of ghee to chicken biryani and ½ tablespoon to rice. Mix nicely with a spoon or fork; cover the lid until it cools down slightly.
