  • 1 tbsp. Palak dal (Red Gram Flour)
  • 1 tbsp. Spinach (Palak Paneer)
  • 2 large potatoes, medium-sized parboiled and mashed

Palak Chicken Marinade: (for marination)

  • 1 cup ginger-garlic paste or crushed garlic/ginger paste/garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder/cayenne pepper/green chili
  • 4 tbsp. cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. coriander leaves(cilantro)
  • 1 tbsp. cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 3 to 4 green chilies, finely sliced or crushed (optional)
  • 1 tsp wine vinegar or fermented soybean paste, optional

Wash & clean the Palak dal (Red Gram Flour). If there is any water in it, let it evaporate completely before adding it to the marinade.

Place the marinade ingredients into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add enough water to form the required consistency of meat masala. Keep it aside for 20 minutes in a refrigerator.

Step 7: Lastly, add the Palak chicken marinade to the pan (check if it is hot enough; you can add some extra butter or oil to prevent sticking). Mix well until everything is combined. Cook everything together for no more than 2 minutes.
